Well there we go at it again!
It's our third year to attend the biggest Gaming Convent in Euope, the Games Convention 2006 in Leipzig, Germany.
This year seems to be very interesting, as Nintendo, Ubisoft, EA and many more publishers are planning to reveal exlusive infos on their next gen systems and games!

By far the biggest gaming trade show of the year. This year's show may be the best one yet (then again, we tend to think that about every new year). Nintendo will finally blow the lid off its mysterious and very unique Revolution console... sorry, Wii; Sony will show off more of its next-gen powerhouse, the PS3; And Microsoft will no doubt have a good 360 lineup to display. And this is just the next gen consoles! There are sure to be several PC, DS, PSP, and current gen console titles that will make noise at the show as well. |

CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is an annual trade show held in Las Vegas. This is an event where manufacturers show off their new technologic achievements. These include cameras, cars, phones, TVs, MP3 Players, and of course GAMES!! |

It's our second year to attend the biggest Gaming Convent in Europe, the Games Convention 2005!
This year we'll be the first press members (and usual people as well) outside the US, that might have the chance to try out Microsofts new XBox 360 and we will probably also get first info on pricing and availablitiy, that's a world first!!
We're also hoping to get some new info on the PS3 and maybe even the Revolution?
We also shouldn't forget about all the PC games that we'll be able to see on the showfloor:
Gothic 3, Oblivion IV.... soo much i can't think of right now because in roughly 9 1/2 hours the first press conference (which happens to be EA's) will blast off.
Await a full coverage from us right from the showfloor!
We'll be covering with more movies, more pics, more handson than ever!!!

The biggest gaming event of the year. This year the future of the gaming industry will be decided, expect lots of details regarding Xbox2, PS3 and Revolution. All three companies, Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo need to make a big impact.

In just one and a half decades, CeBIT has developed from being part of the HANNOVER FAIR into the world’s leading showplace for information technology and telecommunications. |

This years GC in Leipzig Germany, is said to show off a cast of new titles as well as improved versions of titles shown at this years E3.
E.G. Konami (Hideo Kojima himself) will show off improved versions of Meta Gear Solid 3, Pro Evolution Soccer 4, Silent Hill 4, the latest Dancing Stage titles and EyeToy title U Move Super Sports. |

This year's E3 will showcase Nintendo's DS (codename "Nitro"), Sony's PSP, and maybe already more info on the next generation home entertainment consoles, such as Xbox 2, Playstation 3, and the N5 (GC successor).
We'll probably also get more news about the newcomers in the console industry, the Phantom, ApeXtreme and Gamtrac.
Coupled with loads of new info, handson and screens on the latest games, this E3 seems to hold a lot to look forward to! |

New York Soul Calibur II Release |

Namco is teaming up with EB Games to provide New York gamers with a Soul Calibur II release party on August 25th. The event will be held at the EB Games store in Union Square, and will begin at 10:00pm. Gamers will get the chance to play the official US release of Soul Calibur II on all three consoles, prior to the game going on sale at 12:01am, on Tuesday, August 26th. Soul Calibur II is being released on the PlayStation 2, Gamecube, and XBox, with each console getting it's own exclusive character. The XBox version will have Spawn from the Spawn comic books. The PlayStation 2 will have Heihachi from the Tekken series, and the Gamecube will have Link from the Legend of Zelda. All three consoles will also have Necrid, a character created specifically for the console release of the game. |

*Starting on January 10th, Microsoft will start an XBOX Live tournament letting all you NFL Fever freaks bash it out to see who the ultimate Fever Champ is!###
--- Around January 7th, Microsoft is going to invite the 1,500 top-ranked eligible players from five minute quarter games to express their interest in competing in the Showdown. From those 1,500 they will select the top 64 ranked players who accept the invitation and who meet the eligibility requirements. (Basically, you need to be 18, have NFL Fever 2003, and have valid Xbox Live and Xbox.com accounts. You can't work at Microsoft or be related to someone who does. You also can't live in Maryland or Vermont, or Quebec.)
---Tournament play will begin on January 10th. The 64 heavy-hitters will go head-to-head in single-elimination play until we have a football champ. The first-place winner will receive a football autographed by Peyton Manning, a one-year subscription to Xbox Live, and NFL Fever 2004 (when it comes out). The second-place winner will get a one-year subscription to Xbox Live, and NFL Fever 2004. All 64 online jocks will receive a cool Xbox Live tournament T-shirt. |
