Guys i'm a huge Mafia fan, but why did we have to wait 8 years for a sequal?
Well, i didn't get an answer to that question, but what i got at this years gamescom 2010 was a chance to go hands on with the sequal Mafia 2!
What can i say, the game stunned me right from the beginning of the limited demo 2K Games put together.
Starting in a house you get a phone call to get see someone.
I didn't really care, since i was captivated by the living colors and great textures in the house.
Looking outside the window, were passangers on the street passing by, dressed in the typical 1940's -1950s clothing.

I went outside immediately to check out the scenery and i have to say, 2k Czeck really accomplished a living outside world that's believable.
Directly after i stole my first car and started to drive throughout the city i again realized how realistic the handling of the cars was in a Mafia game.
The cars of the 1940s never heard of ESP or ABS, so you really have to work to hold your car on lane!
It just feels awesome!
Once i reached my target (which i was directed to by an arrow in the mini map), i talked to a fellow mafia member to get into a building where we had to oppose some enemies.
In Mafia 2 you're able to press your back onto a wall to get some better cover, and shoot people around the corners! A nice addition that the first game didn't have 8 years before.
That was about all i could play in the demo and again i'm really impressed what the guys of 2k Czeck put together. The trailer show us a living world, with a great storyline and believable characters.
The Demo has been out since August 10 for Xbox360, Ps3 and Pc.
